Sun control window films are designed to reflect and adsorb the heat given off by the sun. The suns rays are reflected by layers of different metals that are infused into the film. Newer window films have less metal, that filters out the heat by nano ceramic technology. Giving the window an almost clear appearance.This type of film gives less glare and fading reduction but it does give ample heat reduction. Cpf films was the original developer of this technology.
